Officials reveal how 8,000kg of gizzard shad ended up on Bang Saen beach

The damaged net of a fishing boat was responsible for the large quantities of chacunda gizzard shad found on Bang Saen beach in Chonburi province, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources said on Monday.
Recent photographs show that the sea at Bang Saen beach has been crystal clear since October and locals believe it will look even more beautiful in November.
Vendors and beach chair operators were back in business on Bang Saen beach today (June 5) following more than two months of lockdown, after the Chonburi beach officially reopened.
